Annie McGregor Goff of Moscow, died Friday, December 28, 2018 at Aspen Park Healthcare in Moscow. She was 83.
Annie was born November 4, 1935 in Spokane to Abe and Florence Richardson Goff. She grew up here and attended Notre Dame Academy for girls in Colton, WA graduating from there. Annie worked as a switchboard operator in California and served in the US Army in San Antonio from 1955 until her discharge in 1958.
Annie worked as Certified Nurse’s Aide most of her life. She was a Lay Reader in the Episcopal Church and then became Roman Catholic during her time in the Army.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Moscow and had served as Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star. Two early marriages ended in divorce.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Timothy.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Moscow Cemetery with Rev. Joseph McDonald officiating. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church later in January.
