Carlean M. Tippett, age 88, of Moscow died Monday October 7, 2019 at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow.
Carlean was born March 8, 1931 in Salem, MO to Carl and Gertie Callahan. She attended school in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in 1949. After High School Carlean met William Tippett and they married on November 25, 1950. Carlean and William lived throughout Nevada, California and Arizona for Williams work. In 1990 they moved to Pinehurst, ID to enjoy rertirement and moved to Moscow in 1997 to live with her daughter.
Througout the years Carlean was active in Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile, and was past Worthy Matron several times. She enjoyed all things arts and crafts and if she saw something she like, she would try tirelessly to recreate or learn the technique.
Carlean is survived by her children Sandy Martinez & husband Nacho of Moscow Idaho and William Tippett & wife Celia of La Plata, Maryland. Grandchildren, James, Missy, Lauren, and Charolette, and Great grandchildren Grace, Taylor & Bailey. She was very proud of her family and their accomplishments
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 14, 2019 at the Moscow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial be made to the Shriners Hospital 911 W 5th Ave, Spokane, WA 99204.
