Robert Morrow Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert “Bobby” Steven Morrow announces his unexpected passing from an accident on his Harley outside of Emida, Idaho on September 25, 2018. Bobby was born March 20, 1959 to Robert Sr and Lucille Morrow in Moscow, Idaho.

Bobby finished school in 1977 and a few years later married Alyson Anderson of Moscow. Together they moved to Umatilla, Oregon where Bobby worked at a coal-fired plant in Boardman, OR. They had two beautiful children, April Rose in 1981 and Joshua Edward in 1982. Bobby and Alyson later divorced. Bobby then went on to work on a fishing boat out of Peterson, Alaska and then on a crab boat out of the Dutch Harbor which fished the Aleutian Islands and close to Russia. Bobby worked various jobs through the years, mostly truck driving and working as a farm hand. He spent some time in California working with fiber optics. His latest jobs were remodeling houses and delivering garbanzo beans.

Bobby was a loved soul. He was famous for his big smile, jokes and giant hugs. He loved everyone he ever met. His absence will leave a hole in the hearts of anyone who knew and loved him. He loved to hunt, fish and ride his Harley. He was an exceptional hunter, he could take down an elk with just a 33. He was a longtime cowboy, you would always see him with his hat on. He spent much time on the Troy family farm breaking wild mustangs with is father Bob, riding horses, and driving the buggy. In recent years he enjoyed spending time with his best friend Rhonda. The two were about to celebrate their 13-year anniversary together this month on October 13th.

Bobby will be forever remembered by longtime girlfriend, Rhonda Gustin and her mother, Marilyn Gustin; children, April Morrow and Josh Morrow; grandchildren, Kayleigh Aherin, Jacob Morrow, Antonio Naranjo, Jaymen and Jasmyn Morrow; brother, Bill Morrow (Cindy); sisters, Pamela Haggard (Lowell), Patricia Yager, Jeannie Keithley (Layne); nephews and nieces, J.R. Morrow (Heather),  Lacy Judd (Dean), Blake Thompson, Jennie Allenby (Joe), Max Johnson (Andria), Ryan Johnson (Silky), and Rachel Sila. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Lucille Morrow, and nephew Wyatt Yager.

A celebration of life will be held on October 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Troy Lion’s Hall (formally Pete’s Place) at 415 S Main St, Troy, Idaho. Please feel free to bring a dish, drink or just yourself to help us celebrate the life of Bobby.

Memorial donations can be made in memory of Bobby to the “Wyatt Yager Memorial”, a fund that was recently set up in memory of his nephew Wyatt to help students who are unable to afford the cost of uniforms or fees, etc. Donations can be sent to: Troy High School, c/o “Wyatt Yager Memorial”, 101 Trojan Drive, Troy, Idaho 83871.
