Allen Del Meyer

Allen Del Meyer, 52, was born December 11, 1971 in Pullman WA to Lorraine Wright and Larry Meyer. He passed away on May 16, 2024, in Moscow ID.

Allen grew up in the Pullman area and attended WSU for Construction Management and was a proud WSU fan his whole life. Allen worked at Winco in the meat department for many years. Working for Winco allowed him to experience living in many different areas, one being Sacramento CA where he lived for eight years. After moving back to the Pullman area Allen attended NIC and received an Associate Degree in Electrical Maintenance in 2018 and then went on to get his Journeyman Card in Idaho and Washington. Allen purchased his home on 5 acres in Princeton in 2019.

Allen married Lisa Taylor in Pullman in 1992 and they later divorced. He married April Denby in 2001 and later divorced.

When Allen was young he spent much of his time with his Grandpa Del on the Meyer family hog farm in Colton WA. Allen enjoyed helping his family butcher and make sausage throughout his life. He loved being outdoors camping and riding 4-wheelers and side-by-sides. He was an original member of the Trail Cartel, a group he and his friends created to enjoy the love of side-by-side riding they shared. Allen also was an avid dart player and viewed the people he played with as family.

Allen was preceded in death by his Grandparents Delbert and Kathleen Meyer, and his Grandpa Everett Drader. Allen is survived by his only daughter Emily McHugh, his brother Sean (Becky) Meyer, his sister Lori (Darin) Buer, his brother Mikey Wright, his Dad Larry Meyer, his Mom Lorraine Wright, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles.

Allen’s family is having a Celebration of Life to be held at his brother Sean Meyer’s Home on May 25th, 2024 at 1 p.m.
