Arlene Jones Miller passed away March 25, 2016 at her home in Moscow. She was 77. Arlene was born November 29, 1938 in Murray, Utah to Veldon Wheeler and Thelma Hyde Jones. She married Thomas Hudelson Miller (Bud) on March 24, 1958 and was later sealed to him in the Salt Lake LDS temple. They observed their 58th wedding anniversary at their home in Moscow on March 24. She is survived by husband Tom, children Cheryl Black (Joel), Susan Howell (Sharon), Annette Falslev (Darren), Dale Miller (Kari), and Katherine Segura-Whitman (Steve), and brothers Bruce (Kathy), Ross (Connie), Ken (Merry), and Steve (Karen). Arlene had 26 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents a brother Allen, and granddaughter Amethyst Black. Arlene was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she served as a visiting teacher, Primary president and teacher, Relief Society president, counselor and teacher, Young Women's leader and teacher, Sunday School teacher, and a Welfare Services missionary at the LDS Humanitarian Center. She loved her family, nature, camping, reading, learning, cooking, and gardening. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM followed by the funeral service on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1016 South Mountain View Road, Moscow, ID. Bishop Matthew Skinner will officiate. Burial and grave dedication will follow at the Moscow Cemetery.
