Beverly Jean Price 84 years old born March 21, 1941 at Prosser Washington passed away at the Lewiston Veterans Home on November 1, 2025 ,born to Gertrude Ethel Workman and Jess Doyle Hensley. She married the love of her life Clarence Lee Roy Price in 1964 together, they raised a wonderful family first living in Renton Washington later moving to Potlatch Idaho before settling in Deary, Idaho.
She is survived by her children Alan Gordon Price of Brookings Oregon, Dawn Lea Kellom of Lewiston, Idaho, Jay D and Cheri Price of Moscow, Idaho and Gail Arlene and Jim Hart of Clarkston.
She was a proud grandmother to many including Carissa and Kelsey Heustis, Jamie and Ashley Price, Christopher ,Morgan and Cameron Price, Jennifer Crawford and Jesse Price. She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence and son Ronald James (Jim)and longtime friend and companion Wayne Wilson of Kendrick.
Beverly had a passion for cooking and painting known for her incredible homemade Mexican meals. She never needed a recipe she cooked by feel and taste if you ask her for a recipe for one of her dishes she’d simply say add this, and that until it feels right!, Her love for cooking has been passed down through her family who continue her legacy in their own kitchens . Through out her career Beverly worked in several restaurants, sharing her culinary talents with her community. She cooked at Alex‘s Mexican restaurant in Deary, Pullman and 3 Mile Inn at Asotin, sharing her own recipes with everyone. After many years of commuting she returned to work locally in Troy and Deary. A talented artist Beverly was also an accomplished painter who specialized in landscapes selling many of her works over the years, her creativity and love of beauty shone through in everything she did. She was an avid Seahawks fan and wouldn’t miss watching a game.
Beverly was a 40 year cancer survivor and a woman of great strength and resilience even after moving to the Lewiston Veterans Home and undergoing dialysis three days a week she faced every challenge with courage and grace. Her determination and spirit were an inspiration to all that knew and loved her. Beverly‘s love strength and creativity will be dearly missed and remembered by her family and friends. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Deary Cemetery . Further information will be shared when available.
