Brian Briggs

Brian Briggs, born on June 3, 1961, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Gary and Phyllis, passed away on October 27, 2025, in Post Falls, Idaho. His journey through life took him from his early days in Michigan to the sun-drenched landscapes of Valley Center and Escondido, California, where he developed a profound love for the outdoors and a notable career.

Throughout most of his adult life, Brian dedicated himself to the installation of flooring, crafting spaces for families to create memories in. His hard work and dedication were a testament to his character, embodying the values instilled in him during his formative years at San Pasqual Academy, where he completed some of his education before pursuing further studies in college.

Brian was a multifaceted individual with a vast array of interests that brought him joy and fulfillment. He found delight in remote control trucks, cars, and planes, often indulging his creative side by painting vehicles and rebuilding VW motors. The thrill of fishing, paragliding, golfing, and the camaraderie of throwing axes were passions that defined his vibrant spirit. Each hobby reflected his adventurous nature and his zest for life.

Brian is survived by his wife, Beth, and his son, Jeremey. He was a cherished grandfather to Seth, aged 6, and Shaylee, aged 5. Additionally, he proudly embraced his role as a stepfather to Jamie Toby, and left behind grandchildren Dakota, aged 18, and Brian, aged 16. Each of them carries forward his legacy of love, creativity, and adventure.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at Moscow Axe Throwing, with specific details regarding the date and time to be announced. His family invites all who were touched by his warmth and spirit to join them in remembering a life well lived, filled with laughter, passion, and cherished memories.
