Daniel Richard Bucher

Daniel Richard Bucher, lovingly known to many as Danny, Danger, or Bro D, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2026, on the beautiful Selway River doing what he loved with the people he loved.

Born on June 15, 1964, Danny lived life to the fullest and will be remembered by all of those whose lives he touched.

Above all, Danny’s life was bound to the people he loved. He is survived by his life partner of 23 years, Sue Branting; his loving parents Dave and Carole Hinds, his nephew Deric Bucher-Reinholdtsen, and brother-in-law Eric Reinholdtsen. He also leaves behind Sue's children, whom he chose as his own, Clinton Johnson, Jerrod and KC Loveland, their children, Maybellene and Townes, who fondly nicknamed Dan, "Captain Papa Danger", and an extremely large "Circle" of friends. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Darsi Bucher-Reinholdtsen.

Danny’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends, but his adventurous spirit, and the bonds he shared with those closest to him will never be forgotten.  

A celebration of life will follow at a later time.
