David C. Ball

David Charles Ball, age 79, of Onaway, Idaho, passed away on October 7, 2026, at Twin Rivers Senior Living in Lewiston, Idaho.

He was born on April 27, 1947, in Kendrick, Idaho, to Leslie Ball and Thelma Garner Ball. He will be remembered for his love of coaching, art, golf, grandkids, and gatherings.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eileen Holt Ball; his children, Ryan Ball (Katie), Erin Ball (Steve Hall), and Jason Ball; his grandchildren, Darian Ball, Kesli Ball Godinho (Kyle), Emma Hull, Gannon Hull, and Bryden Ball; his great grandkids, Lincoln Godinho and Jaxx Godinho; his siblings Gary Ball (Rena), and Kelly Cuddy (Curtis Farley).

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather Elmer Cuddy; his siblings; Bill Ball, Gene Ball, Richard Ball, Phyllis Ball, and granddaughter, Kaitlynne Ball.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Community Church in Potlatch, Idaho on October 17 at 11:00 am. A livestream of the service will be on the Potlatch Grace Community Church Facebook page.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Potlatch Rural Fire & Ambulance, Potlatch High School Athletic Program, or charity of your choice. The family appreciates the care he received from Palouse Dementia, Elite Hospice, and Twin Rivers Senior Community.
