David Clark

March 11, 1962 — January 16, 2024

With great sadness, we bid farewell to David Clark, 61, who departed this world unexpectedly on January 16, 2024. Born on March 11, 1962, in Moscow, Idaho, a Moscow High School graduate and a life-long member of St. Mary’s Parish.

David was a force of nature, known for his cheeky demeanor and irreverent sense of humor. A master of the one-finger salute, he never shied away from flipping the bird, a gesture that spoke volumes about his playful spirit and unwavering authenticity.

David was a loyal friend and a generous soul, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood or a helping hand to those in need. He treated everyone with dignity and respect, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed his path.

A true Renaissance man, David's interests spanned far and wide. From his love of sports, history, music, and politics to his uncanny ability to hold court on any topic under the sun, he was a fountain of knowledge and wit, always ready to engage in debate or share a laugh.

In his professional life, David wore many hats, from truck driver to contract worker to slinging some of the best slices in Moscow- he left an imprint of dedication and hard work in every role he undertook.

David leaves behind his beloved children, Taylor and Henry Clark; his sisters, Kathy (Paul) Rabe and Patsy Butler; his niece, Jessica (Ryan) Gallagher and nephews, Jacob Butler and Samuel (Katie) Rabe, as well as his great-niece, Sloane Gallagher, and great-nephews, Bodhi Gallagher and Loren Rabe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Laura Clark.

A memorial service to celebrate David's life will be held this Spring. Join us in raising a glass to a life well-lived, filled with laughter and love.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rock Steady Boxing, moscow@RSBaffiliate.com, in honor of David's courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease, or to the Human Society of the Palouse to continue his legacy of providing animals loving homes like his cat Bill.
