Deanna L. Robbins was born in Fort Worth, TX to Louis & Florence Robbins. Growing up Deanna and her family lived many places
including Florida, Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. After leaving home, Deanna spent time in California and Washington, before settling in Moscow where she met her husband Nick Bode, whom she later divorced. Deanna was a midwife in the 70’s and 80’s, delivering over 100 babies. She spent many years at the Garden Lounge, where she was more than just a manager, she was known as ‘Mom’ to everyone. Deanna enjoyed the time she was part of Moscow Mardi Gras and Moscow Downtown Association and being a part of her community. Deanna was know for her love of Native American Culture, her love of dogs, her infamous Potluck Parties, and Haunted House fundraiser.
Deanna is survived by her children: Reyna Harmon, Silas (Amy) Robbins, Genevieve Bode, Natalie Allen, Avery Bode, her grandchildren: Tammany Bendel, Joseph Bendel, Madison Bendel, Maecie Robbins, Nyah Robbins, Sage Harmon, Carter Allen, Virgil Allen, and her siblings Jack Robbins, Ann Andrews Springer. She was preceded in death by her son, Tammany Robbins, and her parents, Louis And Florence Robbins.
Deanna’s Celebration if Life, or as she would
prefer, Mom’s Farewell Bash will be November 19th 4-7pm @ Moscow Moose Lodge. In true Mom fashion, it’s a potluck party, so please bring a dish to share.
