Denise Marie Ayers

I am heartbroken to have to announce the death of  “my best friend” my mother Denise Marie Kellom –(Smith, Ayers) 63 Bovill-Deary Idaho.

Denise passed away due health issues at Gritman Medical center surround by her family and friends.

Denise Marie Kellom (Smith,Ayers) was born January 30, 1961 at the Gritman Medical Center in Moscow Idaho to Rebeca and Dallace Kellom from Bovill Idaho.

Denise grew up in Bovill with her loving parents Rebeca and Dallace Kellom and her 2 sisters Dallisa and Dalaina. Denise went to kindergarten in Deary, 1st - 4th grade in Bovill, Idaho  then she would do the rest of her school years at Deary JR.SR High School where she graduated with a high school diploma in May 1980.

In her early years Denise loved playing with her baby dolls, dawn dolls, barbie dolls. She loved playing dress up. Can’t forget the  easy bake oven. She took baton lessons in Moscow Idaho with her sisters and performed. She was a cheerleader in Jr. High. She was also in 4H for a short period of time. She liked going to all the school events, all the school dances, homecoming football, basketball games, track meets. During her summers she spent playing in the sun with her family and friends like swimming at boomerang and camp 8, she like going out to hog meadows laying in the back of daddys pickup and lookin at the stars. She liked to go  camping, having sleepovers, and all the family trips. She even got to go see Elvis Presley with her parents and sisters ( she loved Elvis Presley and Tom Petty) this was an amazing unforgettable once in a lifetime event. Denise loved her family, she was always ,always about family. In high school she found her first true love that tragically died in a car accident. She graduated Deary JR.SR High school May 1980 with a high school diploma.

She married Richard G. Smith (Jake) December 15, 1984. In 1986 she had her one and only child Maria Janell Smith divorced in 1989. She and her Daughter moved back to bovill idaho with her parents for a short little while. In 1991 she met her  husband Richard Wayne Ayers they got married May 11, 1991 and were still together when she passed away just two weeks shy of the 33rd anniversary.

Denise leaves behind  her Husband Richard W. Ayers of Deary Idaho and her Daughter Maria J. Smith Lewiston Idaho, 2 step daughters Jodi Firestone, Trisha Carpenter husband Ron. She also leaves behind 2 sisters,  Dallisa (Kellom) Eggers, Dalaina (Kellom) Irvine. A father in law Wayne Ayers. 2 sister in-laws, Traci Gutschmchidt, Julie Hamilton. Brother in-laws Doug Eggers, Dan Gutschmchidt and Paul Hamilton.along with three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She also leaves behind a few more aunts, uncles, and cousins…. She was preceded in death by her father Dallace Kellom her Mother Rebecca Kellom and Mother in law Rosalie Ayers.
