Diana D. Solberg of Moscow died Wednesday may 4, 2016 at her home in Moscow. She was 64. Diana was born October 24, 1951 in Amboy, WA to Glen and Bernice Solberg. As a young child the family moved to Princeton, ID. She grew up in Princeton and graduated from Potlatch High School.in 1970 Diana met and fell in love with her husband of 46 years, Ray Merritt. They had three children Delilah, Mack and Clifford. Throughout her adult life Diana worked at many restaurants in the area. She worked at Chinese Village for several years, Gambino's and most recently Shermer's in Pullman. She enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, camping and fishing. Diana is survived by her husband Ray Merritt at their home in Moscow, Daughter Delilah Merritt of Bellingham, WA, and sons; Clifford and Mack Merritt, of Moscow, and 4 grandchildren. A celebration of life and potluck will be held at 11:30 at East City Park on Sunday May 15, 2016, followed by drinks and fellowship at Gambino's Restaurant at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to thank Germer Construction for all their support.
