Donald Alan Beyer of Bovill died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at his home. He was 47. Don was born May 8, 1969 at St. Maries, ID to Gordon Dean and Sherry Lynn Brown Beyer. He grew up and attended school at St. Maries and Potlatch, graduating from Potlatch High School. He then went to North Idaho College learning the auto body mechanics. He worked for Edca Fabrication in Garfield before beginning his career in the timber industry. Don first worked for Don Sauer Logging working as a mechanic, then drove logging truck for Sauer, Zimmerman, Baumgartner and Lowry logging companies. Don enjoyed working with his hands, camping, fishing, float trips, operating machinery, archery and was an accomplished welder. He married Dorita Sauer in 1991 and were divorced in 2002. On November 19, 2005 he married Lisa Caldwell. Survivors include his wife Lisa of Bovill, sons, Matthew P. Beyer of Moscow, Nathaniel D. Beyer of Helmer, Garrett J. Beyer of Spokane and Craig A. Beyer of Bovill, his daughter, Natasha D. Beyer of Deary as well as 15 grandchildren. He also leaves his step-mother, Connie Jones of Genesee, a brother, Dean (Kris) Beyer and sisters, Linda Rustad, Sherry Aller, Peggy Forntner, Joyce Jones, Amanda Bedont, Shirley Mooney and Sandy Omelas. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced later.
