James "Jim" Russell Stein Jr.

James “Jim” Russell Stein Jr. was born to James Sr. and Madeleine (Washburn) Stein on August 22, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He grew up mostly just down the way and attended elementary school in Connelsville, Pennsylvania before moving to Hollywood, Florida with his family.  He graduated from Mill Center high school in Fort Lauderdale in 1961.  On May 13 of that same year, he married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Carol Paulick.

Jim’s career was as varied as his geographic origins, and he worked at Plantation Frozen Foods for a time before moving into flooring installation.  When he and Carol moved their family to Spokane in 1974, he got a job with ASC Engineering.  They moved to Moscow, Idaho in 1997, and he became a lawn and garden supply salesman.

Jim was an avid fisherman.  The only thing he loved more than spending time on the water was his family.  He and Carol had three lovely children, James III, Gregory, and Patricia.

A graveside service will be held at Moscow Cemetery at a date and time to be determined.
