Janet Iverson

Janet Louise Iverson of Moscow died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Kindred Aspen Park Healthcare. She was 76. Janet was born November 22, 1940 in Moscow to Roy and Doris V. Nelson Iverson. She attended Genesee School, graduating from Genesee High School. She then attended Kinman Business College in Spokane and worked at First Security Bank in Moscow for a time. Janet then began working for the Chevrolet Dealerships in Moscow, first for Fahenwald, then Wally Orvik and Chipman & Taylor in Pullman, retiring from there after 40 years as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed bowling and was on several leagues over the years, also sewing and always had her companion poodle. Surviving are her brother, Larry and his wife Carol of Genesee, three nieces, Jeannie (Troy) Culver of Rathdrum, ID, Julie (Monte) Wilson and Jodie Iverson all of Lewiston. She also leaves great nephews, Ryson and Dylan and grand nieces, Sydney and Kinsey. She was preceded in death by her parents. A private graveside will be at the Moscow Cemetery. The family suggests donations be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Short's Funeral Chapel, Moscow, and online condolences may be sent to www.shortsfuneralchapel.net
