Judith Ann Whitesel

Judy Whitesel of Springfield, VA, daughter of William and Violet Olson, was called to our Lord on March 13, 2015 at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA after a long battle with Polycystic Kidney Disease. She was 72. Judy grew up in Potlatch and was a graduate of the University of Idaho. She is survived by her son, Lance and her daughter, Mindy Totten. She is also survived by three grandsons, all living in the Springfield area. Judy worked as an accountant until her retirement in 1998. Her passion was plants, especially cacti, with a thriving greenhouse in her back yard. She also loved cross stitch, knitting and crochet, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A service was held Thursday, March 19 at the Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA. Honoring her final wishes, she will be buried in the Moscow Cemetery, next to her mother and father. The graveside service will be Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 2:00 P.M.
