Katherine de Boer was born in Hanford, California on July 23, 1933 to William and Lucy de Boer and passed away on July 12, 2025. She moved from Hanford to Good Samaritan Society Assisted Living in Moscow, Idaho in October, 2018.
She attended Rustic Elementary, Armona Elementary, Hanford Christian, and graduated from Hanford High School in 1951.
She was employed by the Armstrong Rubber Plant and after retirement worked for the City of Hanford Public Works Division.
She was an amazing seamstress. She was accomplished at making smocked girls’ dresses. She not only sewed for her family, but also made items to sell at the annual Christian school fundraiser. Her hands embroidered many dish towels and other items over the years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Garry. She is survived by her sister, Joanne, a niece, two nephews, many grand nieces & nephews, and several great-grand nieces & nephews.
