Kenneth Neil Gunderson

Kenneth Niel Gunderson, 48, passed away April 9, 2023 at home in Moscow ID.

He attended Moscow High School and Chugiak High School, Alaska, graduating in 1994.  He joined the US Army in 1994 and retired in 2016.  He did 3 tours in Iraq. He proudly served as a 19D Cavalry Scout in the Army. Retiring as a Sergeant First Class.  He currently worked at SEL.

Niel lived in Rathdrum, ID, Moscow, ID, Eagle River, AK and several Army posts.  He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and four wheeling.  He also enjoyed working on anything he could get his hands on.

Niel is survived by Kichana, his fiancé and their daughter Sara and her son Logan as well as his children Isabella, Elizabeth, Joshua. He is survived by his parents, Ken and MarJean and his three brothers, Jamie, Ryan (Christy), Rick (Ana).  Niel also has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and his grandmother.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday April 14, 2023 at the Moscow Cemetery.
