Larry L. Weber, of Moscow, died Sunday March 8, 2015 at his home. He was 70. Larry was born October 21, 1944 in Moscow to Floyd and Naomi Weber. He grew up on the family farm south of Pullman and attended school in Pullman, until high school when he transferred to Colton and graduated high school. In 1966 Larry married Melinda Rose Faerber and they made their home in Clarkston. Larry worked at Nez Perce tractor and Paramount Pest Control until 1970 when he went to California and earned a FCC license as a radio telephone operator. Larry went back to his family in Clarkston where he worked at KLEW for a few years before moving to Moscow where he worked at KUID. He left KUID to open his own business, Northwest Outpost, which he operated for several years. Larry spent the rest of his working years with Pullman Transit until his retirement in 2010. Throughout the years Larry served 6 years with the Army National Guard, took on the role of "Mountain Man" living the life style whenever he could, was one of the founding members of the Hog Heaven Muzzle Loaders club and enjoyed spending time with his family on Lake Pend Oreille boating, fishing and camping. Larry is survived by his two daughters Sharlene (John) Neff of Moscow, and Karla (Charles Cook) of Pullman, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Short's Funeral Chapel of Moscow. With burial following at the Pullman City Cemetery.
