Linda May Aldrich

March 1, 1949 — May 20, 2025

Linda May Aldrich, of Genesee, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Pullman Regional Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was 76.

Linda was born on March 1, 1949, in Moscow, Idaho, to Mary Mitchell and Howard Reynolds. She grew up in Genesee, where she attended school from kindergarten through high school.

Linda married O. David Wagar, and the couple made their home in Genesee, raising four children: Dena, Shar, Shileen, and Stacy. After their divorce, Linda later married Randy Aldrich. They welcomed a daughter, Kerisha, while residing in Orofino, Idaho, throughout their marriage before eventually parting ways.

In 2001, she returned to Genesee to care for her aging parents. During this time, she worked in the Emergency Room at Tri-State Memorial Hospital for 18 years before retiring.

Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother who found immense joy in spending time with her 20 grandchildren. She had a deep love for gardening and enjoyed visiting antique stores, always appreciating the charm of the past. In recent years, she discovered a new passion for weaving, which brought her both peace and creativity. A woman of strong faith, Linda was an active and cherished member of her congregation, drawing strength and purpose from her spiritual life.

Linda is survived by her beloved sisters Joan Nelson and Winnie Williams, brother Jon Reynolds;  children Dena and Roszell Smith (children: Trevan and Keldyn), Shar and Rob Marquez (children: Celeste, Aries, Roman, and Marisa), Shileen and Toby Leinweber (children: Taeh, Taran, Taylor, and Alex), Stacy Wagar (children: Rick and Chloe), Kerisha and Levi Lawrence (children: Liam, Kyi, Gus, Tray-sin, Kay-sin, Luke, D’Leigh, and Teegan)
