Linda Lue Robinson

Linda Lue (Foster) Robinson, age 84, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of the Inland Northwest, spending her entire life in the Viola, Moscow, and Lewiston areas.

Linda was born on December 20, 1941, in Moscow, Idaho, to Arnold and Bernice Foster. She spent many years working at JC Penney's before making the transition to becoming a dedicated, full-time stay-at-home mom—a role she cherished deeply.

In 1971, Linda found and devoted her life to God. Her faith became the cornerstone of her existence, and she spent decades finding peace and wisdom in reading her Bible. Above all, Linda loved being surrounded by her family and friends, spreading warmth and kindness to everyone she met.

Linda is survived by her devoted family, including her son, Wayne Robinson, and daughter-in-law, Sheryl Robinson, of St. Maries, Idaho; and her daughter, Marjorie (Robinson) Rode, and son-in-law, Alan Rode, of Lewiston, Idaho. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her six granddaughters: Kylie, Shaylee, Tara, Melissa, Meaghan, and Erica; as well as 9 great-grandchildren including future great grandson Olin Roy Holloway due in December 2026 and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack O. Robinson; her parents, Arnold and Bernice Foster; her sister, Cheryl (Foster) Bickel; and her brother, Jack A. Foster.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Viola Cemetery, located at 1026 Viola Rd, Viola, ID 83872. In accordance with Linda's wishes, no formal get-together will follow the service at this time.
