Michael Robert Dimmick died August 16, 2024 in Spokane, Washington. He was born May 4, 1943 in Douglas, Arizona to Lue Dimmick and Dorthea O’Dell. Michael moved to Troy, Idaho at the age of 2.
Michael attended Troy High School where he graduated. Michael worked for JR Simplot’s in Bovill from 1962 to 1968. He then worked at AP Green from 1969 to 1990, 21 years. He married Peggy in 1979 he gained a step daughter when they married, Cheryl Cooper. He then began working for Troy School District from 1991 to 2007 he then retired. He also worked as a EMT Ambulance crew for over 25 years and served as the Fire Chief for 5 years.
Michael loved hunting, fishing, camping, reading and wood working, he was also a avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Lue and Dorthea, his wife Peggy, two brothers, Don and Dick and one sister, Bonnie and son in law Kevin Keller
Michael is survived by Kenny (Kelley) or Dayton, WA. Cheryl Cooper of Spokane, WA. Rich(Jodi) of Troy, ID. Mike (Nikki) of Seaside, OR and Michele of Deary, ID and 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life for both Mike and Peggy on September 28, 2024 at Troy Lions Hall, 415 South Main Street, Troy ID 83871 from 12:00P.M. to 3:00P.M. Food and drinks will be provided.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Troy Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Service 109 W 6th St, Troy, ID 83871.
