Myrna Kneale

Myrna Kaye Kneale of Moscow went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, May 23, 2015. She was 70. Myrna was born June 11, 1944 at Malta, Montana to Chester and Sylvia Severeide Field. The family moved to Colfax where she attended school, graduating from Colfax High School in 1962. While in high school she began working for the ASCS office (Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service) and following graduation continued there. She then attended Mr. Leon's Beauty School in Moscow and worked for a time as a beautician in Colfax. She resumed her position with ASCS, part time in Colfax for a time and worked full time in the Moscow office until 1988. Myrna enjoyed home decorating, keeping a nice yard, scrapbooking, traveling (especially to Priest Lake), singing and writing poetry. She played the organ for church, was a Sunday school teacher and served as superintendant, and was a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse for over 40 years. On January 25, 1964, she married Robert J. Kneale in Colfax, he survives at their Moscow home along with their children, Jami (Andy) Brown of Juliaetta, Scott (Carol) Kneale of Genesee and Jim Kneale of Moscow. She also leaves her grandchildren, Carl (Megan) Brown, Michelle (Tyler) Hart, Jackie (Chad) Zollman, Ryan Kneale, Kyle Kneale and Tyler Kneale and great grandchildren, Scott, Maisey, Elizabeth and Levi Brown and Hailee Zollman, her mother Sylvia Field of Spokane and sisters Carol (Bill) Rubin of Spokane and Varian (Russell) Bartlett of Post Falls. She was preceded in death by her father. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Short's Funeral Chapel in Moscow with Pastor Connie Groseclose officiating. Burial will follow at the Moscow Cemetery with a reception at the Moscow Church of the Nazarene Fellowship afterward. The family suggests memorials be made to Gentiva Hospice, 1610 NE Eastgate Blvd., Suite 610, Pullman, WA 99163. Arrangements have been entrusted to Short's Funeral Chapel, Moscow, and online condolences may be sent to shortsfuneralchapel.net.
