Pamela Jean Lockman of Bovill, ID died Sunday January 26, 2025 at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow. She was 62 years old.
Pamela was born July 19, 1962 in Albion, Michigan. She was born to Martha and Fredrick Eckelbarger. She had three siblings, James, Fredrick and Louise. She lost her brother Fredrick and Sister Louise to a car accident when she was younger. Pamela graduated Red Bluff High School in California. She then moved to Idaho and graduated college at the University of Idaho. She lived in Bovill, Idaho where she met the love of her life, Roy Lockman. They got married November 21, 1981 in Bonner’s Ferry, Idaho.
They had three beautiful children Kelly, Thomas, and Matthew. Pamela lost her husband when Matthew was a couple of months old, she was a stay at home mother. Pamela loved a lot of things, she loved going to church every Sunday, she loved crocheting and doing diamond art. She loved the outdoors, there was hardly a time she didn’t want to be outside even if it was just to sit in her rocking chair on her porch and watch the humming birds come up to the feeders she put out. Pamela knew the answers for everything, any math problem she would do in her head and she would have the answer before you had it on a calculator, she always got it right. Pamela had a lot of grandchildren, but she raised Martha from the time she was 6 months old until the day she turned 21 and had her own little one, she gave Pam her first great grand child, Rosetta. Martha and Pamela did everything together, Martha took care of her for so many years, she was known as one thing to all her grandchildren and that was “nana” she never liked being called grandma. Pamela had a lot of friends, even friends who turned into family. She was very loved by so many people she had so many kids she claimed as her own. Pamela was bright, she was smart and she had a smile that could make bad days into great days, there was never a time she wasn’t smiling.
When Pamela passed away she had all of her loved ones right next to her holding her hand. Her only wish was that the family spread some of her ashes next to her husbands and then give all her grandchildren some of them. She found out June 19, 2024 that she had congestive heart failure by that time she was ready to be with her husband, but kept fighting for her children, grandchidren and her great grandchildren and thats exactly what she did until she couldn’t anymore. Pamela will be missed by everyone but we are comforted to know she is with Jesus, her husband and all of her family and loved ones she’s lost throughout the years.
Pamela is survived by her brother, James(Jennifer) Eckelbarger. Daughter, Kelly Espinosa. Son’s Thomas Lockman and Matthew Lockman(Kayla Dimmick). Grandchildren, Martha Espinosa, Kathrina, T.J., Jazmine, Jamie Lockman, Chloe Dimmick, Lesley, Glenn. Great grand child, Rosetta Espinosa.
