Rosa Kilborn

Rosa Kilborn, of Potlatch, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, 24 days shy of her 90th birthday, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 9, 1926 in Midvale, Idaho to Herbert and Betty Wahl Shaw and was the oldest of three children. She was raised in southern Idaho where she met her future husband and love of her life Elmer "Bud" Kilborn and they were married in May 1943, in Payette, ID. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, photography, traveling, making cards on her computer and playing games as well as gardening and tending her flowers. She is survived by her sons; Jim of North Pole, AK, Galen of Potlatch, Russ (Sandy) of Troy, and daughter Barbara Newton of Medical Lake, WA as well as 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer in 1991, son Larry, grandson Jeff, and son-in-law Ray, as well as two brothers. A Memorial Service for Rosa will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Short's Funeral Chapel in Moscow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may sent to the Potlatch Ambulance P.O.
