Roy Wayne Scoles

Roy W. Scoles of Princeton died Friday, November 23, 2018 at his home. He was 85.

Roy was born on March 18, 1933 in Orofino to Truman and Bessie (Adams) Scoles. He graduated from Dayton High School and shortly after he was drafted into the Army and served our country during the Korean War.

On September 5, 1954 he married the love of his life, Doris Rice in Princeton. They spent 44 years together raising their family and critters. She preceded him in death in 1998.

Roy loved the outdoors and spent many hours exploring the trails, either on his horses, his Harley or on foot. He shared this love with his children and grandkids.

He leaves behind his children, Joyce (Owen) Rode, Don (Bonnie) Scoles, Jan (Ray) Ahles, Donna (Rodney) Sines along with 11 grandkids, 20 great grandkids and 2 great great grandkids.

We will all miss him always. Per his request, there will be no service. We ask that your contributions be made to the Potlatch Fire and Ambulance Fund.
