Sandra Bennett

December 22, 1959 — September 21, 2017

Sandra Kae Bennett, 57, Potlatch

Sandra Kae Bennett (Sandy) went to be with the angels on Thursday, September 21st, 2017. No longer suffering and is now watching over us as a beautiful angel herself. Sandy was born on December 22nd 1959, to Frank and Delores Bennett. Her twin sister, Suzie, came along shortly after and they have been best friends from day one and shared an amazing bond. They joined older siblings, Frankie, Vicki and Shelley. Later their baby brother, Brett was born. Sandy always wanted to know how to do everything and had an extreme curiosity to learn. She acquired her GED at the age of 14 and went on to work at her father's lumber mill and continued to work there for twenty years, while also purchasing a mobile home park in 1991. She took great pride in owning and operating The Y Mobile Home Park for the past 26 years. She also worked hard at earning her realtor's license and getting her CDL. She wanted to know how to do everything and wanted to be able to pass her knowledge down to her kids and grandkids. Sandy had an especially close relationship to her oldest grandson, Ceve. They would often be found riding four wheelers or having sleep overs at her house, in her younger years. She wanted to be as close as she could to her kids and grandkids. Sandy is preceded in death by her big brother, Frankie. She is survived by her children, Shallon Wood of Potlatch, Idaho and Cody (Robin) Wood of Lewiston, Idaho. Her grandchildren, Ceve Brown, Kason and Corbin Wood, twin sister, Suzanne (Chuck) Wilson, sisters Vicki (Bob) Jahns, Shelley Bennett and brother, Brett (Sarah) Bennett, parents, Frank and Delores Bennett, Her children's father Clayton Wood, with whom she remained close to, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her terribly. Her beautiful personality, sincere heart and unconditional love will forever be remembered by all that knew her. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in the Moscow Cemetery. A celebration of life ceremony will follow at 2542 Moser St, in Moscow, Idaho, from 3 to 5 p.m. This invitation is extended to all of Sandy's friends and family. Please bring your happiest and fondest memories of our sweet mama. Arrangements have been entrusted to Short's Funeral Chapel of Moscow, and condolences may be left at www.shortsfuneralchapel.com
