Thomas Dale Curtis of Moscow died at his home October 14, 2015. He was 55. Tom was born September 9, 1960 in Santa Ana, California to Robert and Dorris Thompson Curtis. He grew up and went to school in Orange County, California. Tom moved to Idaho in 1989 and to Moscow in 1999. He spent most of his years sharing his passion for cooking working at the Coeur d'Alene Resort, Red Lion Inns, and for many years at the Mark IV Restaurant in Moscow. Over the years he also worked in the shipping and handling business for companies like Tri-State Distributors and Barwalt tools. Tom's passion was baseball, whether he was playing, collecting cards and memorabilia or watching it. He loved to cook for anyone who would eat his food. He enjoyed all outdoor activities including fishing and hunting and just strolling through town on his cruiser bike. Tom is survived by his son, Tom II in Spokane, and daughters, Toasha Curtis of Idaho and Sherye Curtis in Washington and his grandchildren, Raelynn, Maleah, Zoey, Jazzmin, Declan and Bentley. He will be remembered for his giving heart. Tom is loved and will be missed by many. The family will be hosting a celebration of life in the near future in Spokane, WA and details will be released at a later time.
