Travis Darren Cleveland, 24, died in an automobile accident on Tuesday, May 19th near Juliaetta, Idaho. Travis was born May 21st, 1990 in Moscow, Idaho to Todd and Cathy Cleveland, and big sister Carrie, and their lives were forever changed. He spent his first few years in Moscow, but moved to Lewiston when he was two and began building a group of lifelong friends. Travis worked for his dad's logging company and ran his crew of road builders in the mountains. He has many friends through work that were his second family. Travis never went to work without his dog, Drifter - she will miss him as much as we will. To explain Travis in words is nearly impossible, but those who ever met him know exactly who he was. He was extremely genuine and very blunt with his words - sometimes more than necessary - but he made us all the best versions of ourselves and taught us all to live life to the absolute fullest, and to never pretend to be something we weren't. He was the funniest person we ever knew, and we talk constantly about him missing his calling as a comedian. Travis loved anything to do with the outdoors and would spend as much time as possible hunting with his dad and friends. He also loved sports and played football and basketball in school. He has been a huge Denver Broncos fan forever. He had the chance to go see a game in Denver, and sat in the front row and was so excited that he made it on television. Travis dated his high school girlfriend, Kendra Brooks, for many years. On August 22nd, 2011, they brought Travis's son and exact replica, Darren Cleveland, into the world. Darren loves his daddy and likes to tell us stories about his dad's trucks and hunting trips. He looks up to him in every way possible. Travis had a deep bond with his mother, and constantly picked on her, but just to get her to smile. He lived life at 110 percent, but we all loved that about him. He never did anything that he didn't want to do, and not many people could keep up. Travis is survived by his parents Todd and Cathy, his son Darren, his sister Carrie and her boyfriend Gary, his girlfriend Lacey Funke, his grandpa Marvin, grandparents Pete and Carol Hamilton, auntie Gina Rinehart and her boyfriend Chris Clegg, uncle Scott Cleveland, aunt Tammy Cleveland, uncle Jerry Hamilton and his wife Janice, and several cousins. He also maintained a close bond with Kendra and they loved spending time with their son. He has too many close friends to list, but they were also his family and several of them knew him for most of his life, especially his best friend Shane Lohman. He is preceded in death by his grandmother June Cleveland and uncle Steve Hamilton. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th, at 6 p.m. PT at the home of Todd and Cathy Cleveland (2727 Powers Ave., Lewiston, ID 83501). An account has been set up for Travis's son, Darren - donations can be made at Twin Rivers National Bank.
