William W. Bonney

William W Bonney (Bill) passed away July 4 th , 2024.

Bill was born on 07-10-1942 in Perkasie, PA to William Wesley Bonney and Drusilla Grim Bonney. Bill actively pursued education and learning throughout his life. He attained a doctorate in English Literature and Studies. Bill had a long career as professor of English Studies. First, at University of Alaska Fairbanks where he built his house by hand while working as a professor. He eventually moved to Mississippi State University in Starkville, where he spent most of his career and retired from. Bill moved to Moscow in 2006. Lifelong learning was a passion for Bill. He had a strong interest and knowledge of astronomy. Bill was also a scholar of the Russian Revolution. Bill had two children Nicole Bonney (deceased) and Jordan Bonney, who survives him. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
