Bill Turner

Wm. (Bill) Edison Turner, of Jacksonville, FL., passed away at home on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie K. Moore of Jacksonville, FL & Moscow, ID and Father Leo L. Hudson of Page, WV & Medina, OH.

William was born Oct. 6, 1961 to Marie & Leo Hudson at Gritman Memorial Hospital in Moscow, ID. and was baptized on Oct. 22, 1961 at St. Mary’s Church in Moscow.

Bill is survived by his uncle/aunts: Clair & Audrey Moore of Tarrytown, NY, and Claudia Moore of Post Falls, ID; cousins Pamela Moore of Post Falls, ID & Tracy Moore of Tarrytown, NY; Skyler, Kris & Ashlyn Moore of Moscow, ID; step-brother Paul Turner Jr. of Washington State; companion Rachel Napoli of Jacksonville FL.

He attended Jones College in the 1980’s & graduated Charis Bible College in 2016.

Traveling back to Moscow every few years to visit the Farm & spend time with his cousin Ken Moore (deceased) was one of his favorite vacations…along with visiting the NYC Moore’s.

Bill worked in Computer Technology for his Charis Bible College colleagues, besides helping friends & neighbors become more tech savvy. He was a man of Faith, a good & kind man that never said a bad word about anyone! He loved animals & leaves behind his sweet 19 year old cat, Sam. His favorite hobby was cooking for family…

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 16 at 10:00 am at Shorts Funeral Chapel, followed by his burial at 11:30 am at the Moore Family Plot at the Moscow Cemetery.
