Lauretta Marie Zeller of Troy died Friday, June 26, 2020 at her home. She was 71.
She was born at Gritman Hospital on July 6, 1948 to William and Pauline (Coble) Spencer. The family lived in Udall, Kansas until 1956 when the moved back to Troy. She worked at the University of Idaho Student Union Center in Moscow from 1964-1979. After that she cleaned houses for nine years, then in 2000 she went to work at Bob’s Place until 2003. Lauretta was employed at Winco Foods until 2008.
She and Robert L. Zeller were married on November 5, 1966 in Moscow. They lived in Moscow for three years before returning to Troy. She loved to bake and cook and enjoyed giving it away to friends and family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bob, at their home near Troy. She leaves children, Dawn (Dave) and grandson Cody Gludt all of Troy and a son Aaron Zeller of Moscow. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bill Spencer, Jr.
Viewing will be at Short’s Funeral Chapel in Moscow from Noon until 6:00 PM on Monday. A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 30th at the Spencer Cemetery near Troy.
