Obituary

Robert M. Boyd (88), of Pullman, WA/ Wellton, AZ, passed away while sleeping peacefully Monday August 21, 2023 in Tacoma, Washington after a long battle with several medical issues.

Robert, fondly known as Bob to many, was born to Merrill & Betty Boyd on July 2, 1935, in Pullman, Washington.  Born and raised in Pullman, Robert attended Pullman High School.  In 1953 Robert married his lifelong sweetheart Louise Vivian Berry who preceded him in death in 1998.  Robert and family left Pullman for a brief number of years only to return home to his passion for farming.  Robert would eventually succeed his father as head of the family farm, E. Merrill Boyd Farms.  Robert was a member of many fraternal organizations including Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Fraternal Order of Moose, National Rifle Association, AmVets, and more.  

Robert is survived by his his second wife Donna, his children, Robert Jr & wife Laurie(Caleb, Elizabeth, Micah & Carolyn) William(daughter Stephanie), David & wife Jacqueline(Jeremy) & Kimberly.  He is also survived by his sister Marcia McGee, and many beloved Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews.

A Celebration of Life to be held this fall in Pullman.  Details will be published in this newspaper in the coming weeks.
